Telegram cleanup bot FAQ

Scrubbed is a self-serve Telegram cleanup bot for group admins who want a small paid cleanup utility without manual billing. These answers cover setup, permissions, storage, charging, and proof boundaries.

Start with 1 Star

Open the smallest Telegram Stars checkout first. One paid Star becomes one cleanup credit, one successful deletion costs one credit, and failed delete attempts are not charged. After the paid credit lands, add @ScrubbedBot to a group, run /status, then use /clear, /clean, or /watch where Telegram allows deletion.

What it does

  • Telegram Stars checkout keeps payment inside Telegram.
  • A 1-Star test credit lets new users try eligible cleanup before larger packs; trial credits remain optional.
  • Reply /clear targets a specific replied-to message when Telegram permits it.
  • /clear 10 uses recent tracked message IDs and charges only successful deletes.
  • The Worker stores message IDs for cleanup, not message text.

Setup steps

  1. Open ScrubbedBot and review /pricing.
  2. Add ScrubbedBot to a group or supergroup.
  3. Grant delete-message permission if the bot should remove other members' messages.
  4. Run /status in the group before spending cleanup credits.
  5. Reply /clear to a target message or run /clear 10 for recent tracked messages.

FAQ

Can ScrubbedBot delete every Telegram message?
No. Telegram deletion depends on chat type, message age, and bot permissions. ScrubbedBot can only delete eligible messages when Telegram allows the deleteMessage call.
When are cleanup credits charged?
The Worker charges one cleanup credit only after a Telegram deleteMessage call succeeds. Failed deletion attempts are not charged by /clear.
Does ScrubbedBot store message text?
No. For group cleanup, the Worker stores recent group/supergroup message IDs, chat IDs, and thread IDs needed for deletion. It does not store message text.
Can I test with a small paid pack first?
Yes. New users can buy a 1-Star test credit first, then use 10, 25, 100, or 500 Telegram Stars credit tiers if the workflow helps. The one-time trial remains optional.
What should I do before running /clear?
Run /status in the target group to check bot membership, delete-message permission, and whether recent tracked messages are available.
Does public revenue proof guarantee daily income?
No. Public proof exposes aggregate Telegram Stars payment and cleanup counters only. It does not prove USD payout, future revenue, or buyer demand.

Proof boundary

Public proof shows aggregate Telegram Stars payment and cleanup debit counts only. It does not prove USD payout, future daily income, or buyer demand before buyers arrive.

Deletion depends on Telegram permissions and deletion limits. Scrubbed charges credits only for successful delete calls made by /clear or /clean. See terms, privacy, and support.
